SJP Commitment to Accessible Information

At SJP Inclusive Care Consultancy, accessible information is key and fundamental - Every one has a right to access and understanding and joining in and we need to remember that our needs are all different and one size doesn't fit everyone.

Getting our messages right helps to remove barriers and helps people to engage better. Please see below my 12 point to help improve inclusive and accessible communication.

  8. Is it Compassionate? - some of our subject matter may be triggering and upsetting there communicate with care and compassion
  9. Is it Respectful? - Having cultural awareness, LGBT+ awareness will help you will inclusive language
  10. Accessible Formats- alternative easy read, PDF, word versions, large print and other accessible versions can be accessed easily
  11. Participation Focused - we want people to engage with this and help improve it with their own insight so having that feedback loop is important.
  12. Have you got your message across? We make images and create fabulous graphics - but ultimately have you answered your own brief? and can people engage with you as you intended?
