At SJP Inclusive Care Consultancy, I believe that we can get the best out of our services, if we truly listen to and involve our patients/clients/customers. To achieve true patient-centred care, it's not just about reasonable adjustments, but about improving our relationships, getting our records right and being at the forefront of crisis prevention.
SJP Inclusive Care Consultancy I use my working experience and my own personal caring experience to help health and social care organisations deliver care that is genuinely inclusive, trauma informed and accessible. My work is grounded in more than twenty one years across the NHS, social care and the public and voluntary sector and everything I do is focused on making services safer, calmer and more human for the people who use them and the people who work within them.
I support organisations that want to move beyond surface‑level adjustments and into meaningful, sustainable change, whether that involves strengthening governance, improving coding and quality, redesigning pathways, or building workforce confidence through practical, accessible training shaped around real‑world pressures.
When people are struggling to access services, complaints are rising, staff feel overwhelmed or inequalities are widening despite everyone’s best intentions; my role is to make these challenges smaller and more manageable, and to help teams create change that lasts.
My approach is warm, human and grounded in trauma‑informed practice, with a focus on dignity, safety and inclusion. Working with me leads to clearer pathways, stronger governance, more confident teams and better experiences for patients and communities.
I founded SJP Inclusive Care Consultancy because inclusive, trauma‑informed care should be the foundation of every interaction, and I work alongside organisations to help them create environments where people feel safe, valued and understood.
